Reply:There are a lot fewer data entry jobs than there were thirty years ago, and the days of straight data entry from hand written forms are pretty much over - now most people that used to fill out the forms are actually DOING the data entry into formatted screens on a PC.

Data entry jobs do still exist with some, mostly large, companies, and it's very possible to do it at home. But for that you'd be hired by the company. Stay away from the scam sites on the Internet that claim to set you up with people who will pay huge amounts for "data entry" - those are scams, after your "signup fee" or "fee for training materials". And don't get sucked in by the replies you'll get from people looking to sign up people and get a cut of those fees - they'll claim they are making money from the sites, but it's from getting a cut of new signups, not actual work.

You've done professional data entry - think about it. Is it reasonable that any company is going to pay say $50 for each form filled in? Does that make any sense?
Reply:There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills (fast typing, 10 key), may want you to know excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but it is rare.

One option is to freelance and bid for data entry jobs. However, you are bidding along with many people and often other countries-so you may have to bid really low just to get a job and/or project.

Another option is to offer data entry services to businesses in your area. It can be done, I know people who have done this but it is not easy to do.
Reply:If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.

Good luck!
Reply:See what we have mainly on the internet is nothing but scam and only but scam but look out on this site but they are asking for payment before you join them and verify whether they are legitimate before you join them, I have not really tried because I don't want to risk my money, so try out first and see if you can get the behind the scene information before you think of signing up or anything.

I wish you the best.
