Where can I find Legitimate Jobs working from home in Data Entry?

I have been looking to find a job working from home, in data entry, but every where I have looked they either want a fee for a list of employers or they want to offer me a home business. I just want to find a legitimate job working from home can anyone please! point me to the right direction.

Do you have the skills for a data entry position? I ask because many people assume that because they can type and have a computer that this is all that is needed. Employers want fast typists (55wpm and some ask for higher speeds), also 10 key skills are usually required as well as well as knowlegde may be required in programs such as Excel. In addition companies will want your pc to meet the company's specifications and high speed internet is usually required.

Reply:I have worked at home for the Home Shopping Network answering the phone and placing orders for customers.


You have to put in a ton of hours to make very little money though because you get paid per phone call.





I have also worked from home for a British company doing "social" texting. I actually made about $9 an hour doing that but that kind of work isn't for everyone. The company I worked for has since been absorbed by a larger competitor but those jobs are still out there.

Reply:LOL.. too funny... there are no such things unless you work as a transcriptionist and that takes a lot of training and again you have to pay to set up the phone lines ans such... those jobs are a scam...
