Are there any at home data entry work that are really data entry?

I have just moved to the S. Atlanta area, I need to work right away, I'm a single mother of two children. I have marketable skills for ANY clerical position BUT I have a felony on my record from three years ago. It is a drug possession charge, I was stupid awhile back, I have totally turned my life around and I have no part in that world anymore but EVERYONE wants to run a background check and hold that against me. I came down here to start over and I'm beginning to regret it. I just want to work, I love to work, and I'm getting a little depressed about this. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE?? please I am willing to work but I don't want to do these get rich quick marketing ad schemes. I just want a data entry job that will support me and my family. Does anyone know of any legitimate traditional data entry jobs at home (or anywhere that will pay decent) that won't require me to dredge up my past, or won't care about my past?

Are there any at home data entry work that are really data entry?
Hi I am a mother of two beautiful children, and like you I was looking for a way to stay at home with my kids and earn an income at the same time. I was searching all over the internet for a legitimate work at home job. And of course i was scammed and lost some money but I didn’t give up and kept on looking for what to do online till i found a survey site and started taking surveys. but it wasn’t enough to be signed up to one or two sites so I was looking for more sites that pay cash and not survey sites that enter you in a sweepstakes or try to sell you something or only pay you to fill out some offers. I found a few sites that had big lists of survey sites but most of their links were outdated or duplicate or they were just sweepstakes or a site that wanted to sell me things and called it a survey. Finally I found this site www.cashsurveysonly.com it has a list of survey companies that are free to join and pay cash. Its great

Reply:First, congratulations on turning your life around. That is really fantastic!

As for home data jobs- it's unfortunate that most of these earn wages less than sweat shop laborers or are completely fraudulent.

Lucky for you, I have another suggestion.

I'm a web publisher and I come across hundreds of women who are looking for "legitimate work at home opportunities." The majority of them have been taken for small fortunes, were just paid so little, they were almost working for free.

I make a nice, growing fortune with AdSense and affiliate programs and am always happy to help others do the same. I'm building a site now that has tutorials but am happy to help you get started in the meantime.

No cost- no strings. Anyone can do this and I am fortunate that I have done so well and can share what I've learned.

A hosting plan at godaddy.com starts at around 3.00 a month, so that, and time, are your business expenses.

If you have no html or web design skills, fear not- wordpress platforms, joomla, etc allow you to use on site login themes that require little more than writing an article and hitting "publish" (actually, you did that to post your question here, so you've already got the skills.)

Earnings- there's no reason you can't make a few hundred next month, and a few thousand a month shortly after. Some people get stuck in the few hundreds, but my former PR and marketing skills have helped me avoid that and I now make well over 6 figures and growing. Regardless, the potential is limitless.

Take a look at the site below and feel free to contact me through it with questions. As I said, I'm always happy to help aspiring entrepreneurs.
Reply:First of all most online data entry jobs are scams so stay away from that. Most online work at home jobs will want to run a background check on you-so you might be better of starting a work at home business or really working out of the home. Being upfront and honest about your conviction may help you.
Reply:Congrats on getting yourself to a better place! Are there any temp services you could go to in your area? I have gotten a lot of good experience working as a temp and found a great permanent job through one too. If you do find a good work-at-home job, please pass it along. Extra $$ for the holidays and my EBay addiction would be helpful LOL.
