Data Entry?

Hi, I want to work in data entry or data processing job. I am stay home mom and want to work this from home. Is anyone working here in this fields from home? What is the duty and where can I find this kind of job.

The majority of data entry job and data processing jobs working from home jobs online jobs are scams. One poster stated how she did this from home, check your local newpaper and phone book to see if there are any data entry companies who hire people to work from home.





I mentioned that looking online which bring up a lot of scams however, it is possible to find a position online. First, stay away from any company charging a fee-you would not to pay outside the home and should not pay to work from home. Try coming with different search term instead of using "work from home" such as: telecommuting, telecommute, virtal work, virtual office, independent contractor, must have high speed internet (most companies will want you to have high and not dial up).





I was able to find a data entry position but it took months of searching to find a legitimate one. Sometimes, after searching for awhile you will also learn to spot the scams ad (sometimes you can tell if they have a require typing speed and don't ask for other skills).





On Virtual Job Connection http://www.virtualjobconnection.com there are some Data Entry jobs listed-but some of the companies are not hiring right now and/or have a long wait of people waiting to get in. There are types of jobs listed on the site also and you may find other jobs to apply for as well.

Reply:Often these work at home schemes turn out to be scams. However an up and coming work at home option is being a customer call rep and work from home.

Reply:I used to work for certain Bank ... located in America.... anyways... I was working from home... they'd fedex the information, I'll enter the info from home, into a secure server from theirs.... and I got paid by volume.... and accuracy, which was about 99.9% so I made some extra cash that way.





the packages came once a day... saturday included so.... it' was a lot of work, but fun... to me!!... try looking into banks... hospitals.... etc.
