What are the Data entry typing qualifications? I tryed for a job and I had 7,000 ksph but they said I had to have 9,000. I was searching on here and noticed most qualifided 7,000.

Each company has it's own reasons for the speed they require, and can require whatever they want. 9000 ksph is average to above average, I can do over 12,000 and have worked with people that can do over 15,000, so I would bet if they are requiring 9000, their employees average 10-11k in speed.
Employers know that within one month of getting the hang of a job an employee will increase in speed about 10%. Also, for every mistake you make, they will deduct part of your speed. If you really want on with that employer, you will have to speed up, as they need to interview and qualify people against the same rules,
